Order Acceptance

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the amount paid for the cancelled or unavailable items will be refunded using the original payment method.

Pickup and Delivery

Customers must provide accurate contact, pickup, and delivery information. Buckingham Meat Market is not responsible for delays, missed deliveries, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Pickup and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of weather, traffic, product availability, staffing, carrier issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers should collect pickup orders within the specified time and be available to receive delivery orders. Perishable items should not be left unattended for extended periods.

Inspection of Orders

Customers should inspect their order immediately upon pickup or delivery. Any incorrect, missing, damaged, or spoiled item must be reported to Buckingham Meat Market as soon as possible, along with the order details and photographs where requested.

Reporting an issue does not automatically guarantee a replacement, credit, or refund. Each claim will be reviewed based on the circumstances and the information provided.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the perishable and temperature-sensitive nature of meat and food products, all sales are final. Buckingham Meat Market does not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind, personal taste preferences, incorrectly selected products, or products that have been improperly stored or handled after pickup or delivery.

This policy helps us maintain food-safety, hygiene, and quality standards, as returned food products cannot be resold.

If an incorrect, damaged, or spoiled product is received, customers should contact us immediately. Buckingham Meat Market may, at its discretion and after reviewing the issue, offer a replacement, store credit, or other appropriate resolution.

Food Storage and Handling

Customers are responsible for safely storing, handling, preparing, and cooking products after pickup or delivery. Perishable products should be refrigerated or frozen promptly.

The USDA advises keeping refrigerators at 40°F or below and storing raw meat in sealed containers or secure wrapping to prevent juices from contaminating other foods.

Buckingham Meat Market is not responsible for spoilage, contamination, illness, or loss resulting from delayed refrigeration, improper storage, cross-contamination, undercooking, mishandling, or failure to follow product instructions.

Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Products may be prepared, stored, packaged, or handled in facilities where common allergens are present. Customers with food allergies, sensitivities, religious dietary requirements, or other special dietary needs are responsible for contacting us before placing an order.
