You can’t go wrong with whole barbecue chicken, can you? We like to spin up a mixture of lemon juice, seasoning, and our favorite BBQ sauce to coat the chicken with before throwing it on a hot grill.

Our Preferred Preparation for Whole Chickens

So many options here. You can cook Butcher Shoppe chickens whole on the barbecue or stuffed in a roast, or break them down into individual pieces. We recommend rubbing your chicken down with butter before seasoning it with salt, pepper, and herbs. And don’t forget to make a nice chicken stock with the leftover bones and trimmings!
